On Sunday Jason and I were treated to a lovely high tea by our friends Melanie and Michael, awesome scones (and you all know how much I like scones), tea cake, petit fours and sandwiches. Melanie and Micheal even went out of their way to get some special tea for me (known for its properties in getting a woman ready for labour). It was a great way to spend the afternoon.
I forgot to take the camera with me, so these shots were taken on Jason's i-phone, but I couldn't resist getting Jason with the beautiful, delicate china tea cup!
I may have mentioned it before, but I think that high tea is a wonderful invention, one of my favourite ways to spend an afternoon. Thanks Melanie and Michael!!
